This "Baron" who's revealed himself is NOT a part of the true Baron Guild!!!
Probably a cohort of old Constantine's, I'll wager. A pretty safe bet too, seeing as how some of the foes in previous chapters were Franklin-designed.

Now before my tongue slips out of my cheek into my throat and chokes me, allow me to belatedly congratulate yet another fine chapter. Solid plot, fine character development, and everything else that's already been praised. In other words, a damn fine tale all around.

Don't get too hung up about off-board life throwing you a bunch of curveballs, Mate. I'm still struggling after THREE YEARS of personal chaos to find the time to finish my own Inspektor 12 Kronicles. You'll git 'er dun, trust me.

Would 'twere so for me as well, but we shall see...........

Thanks. Ironically enough, I wrote one of my best (non-ASFR) stories last January when I had a massive fever and a mild case of pneumonia; it still holds up when I read it today.

Indeed, the Baron isn't part of the Baron Guild; his origin is a bit.....darker.
