Novel recommendation

Postby Cecilauthor » Sun May 20, 2012 9:32 am

I'm very much enjoying Virtual Girl, by Amy Thompson - available here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... ition=used

A departure from Terminator-esque evil robot themes; mainly with pursuit-fugitive action. The fembot is super-strong of course; (which causes more problems than it solves) but the characters are sympathetic, not a complex story, but appealing to fans of sapient robotics.

Thats an oldie but goodie.

The android's viewpoint of things is almost alien in some ways. But I liked the story, it had some endearing moments.

I've actually been looking for this book for quite a long time: I don't know why I never thought of buying it over the internet, now that I've had success in finding virtually everything else that way. Thanks for the reminder.
